The fourth round of the Indy Pro Series schedule is getting set to go, so we'll get the Official Discussion Thread started so that we can begin chatting out the event. The series got off to an solid start with Alex Lloyd setting the pace and the competition is going to have to step up at Indy for the Freedom 100 to break his streak.

Practice is scheduled to begin next Thursday, but based on the times from the earlier test days, who do you think will be the primary players come race day?

It has to be the Usual Suspects I think - Lloyd, Mutoh, Cunningham followed by whoever else runs a quick car on ovals!

Hi all,

The checkered flag has just waved on the second practice session and topping the time sheets was Chris Festa. Unfortunately the driver Georgia did not end the session how he would have liked, after making contact with one of the concrete walls midway through the session. We'll see if the Chip Ganassi Racing crew can fix his car ahead of qualifying, which gets underway at 1:15 p.m. In his his career start in an IPS car, reigning Ontario Formula Ford Challenge champion Shane Jantzi is the talk of the track thus far. Fourth quickest in the first session, he was third quickest this time in his Brian Stewart Racing entry. Here are the times from the session:

1. Chris Festa 47.6685
2. Mike Potekhen 47.6742
3. Shane Jantzi 47.7078
4. Wade Cunningham 47.7334
5. Sean Guthrie 47.7450
6. Tom Wieringa 47.8760
7. Hideki Mutoh 47.8802
8. Brad Jaeger 48.0582
9. Matt Jaskol 48.1001
10. Logan Gomez 48.1352
11. Ken Losch 48.1489
12. Stephen Simpson 48.1684
13. Andrew Prendeville 48.2086
14. Ryan Justice 48.2266
15. Jon Brownson 48.2455
16. Robbie Pecorari 48.2716
17. Jaime Camara 48.2719
18. Joey Scarallo 48.4467
19. Bobby Wilson 48.5513
20. Al Unser III 48.6053
21. Jonathan Klein 48.6530
