This year will be very fun to watch. I'm looking forward to attending some of the races.

Hi all,

Before I get into the latest news regarding the series, Pat any info about where we can expect to see you behind the wheel this coming season? Sounds like the test with PR1 in the Atlantic car went well. Keep us posted.

As for pacific F2000 info, just been told that BWM Engineering will not be taking part in the series this year, as they are switching to IMSA competition. With the move, it is rumored that Freytag will run with series champions PR1 and Spreitzer is retiring from racing.

It has also been rumored that Front Range will not contest any races this coming season, focusing on the East Coast F2000 series and SCCA Club Racing competition.

Cheers,

Hi Al

The test was a great experience. Mike Forest was out driving his car so I had a great guy to compare times and data with.

As far as 2008 goes, I should have an announcement out within the next week or so.

PR1 will also announce their driver line up for Pacific F2000 soon. I attended an F2000 test with PR1 and met the drivers. They're very excited about this season.

This year should be exciting to watch!

Pat

Hi all,

With the season-opener only a few days away, the field is almost set. Three-time champions PR1 Motorsports are the latest to confirm their driver line-up. Modisette returns for another season of action with the team, and will be joined by fellow series veterans Fretag, Hyatt and Westphal.

In addition to the foursome, Rarick confirmed by in early February that he will be back for another season of racing behind the wheel of his American made Piper.

Cheers,
