Despite watching two of their freshmen drivers jump to Star Mazda for 2009, FBMW Americas is part of this positive trend as it looks as though the series, which struggled attracting double digits entries to its ’08 schedule, will see a substantial influx of drivers for the 2009 campaign. The organizers are now looking at as many as 15 drivers for the opener in Autodromo Puebla Amozoc in Puebla, Mexico in March. Also new to the series is Rahal Letterman Racing, which will act as the new program administrators. eFormulaCarNews.com Editor-in-Chief Rob Howden sat down with RLR’s Bobby Rahal recently to discuss his thoughts on the series and his personal plans for helping to support the program.
