ST. CHARLES, ILL. (February 25, 2010) – Conlin SpeedSports, LLC. and JAY Motorsports, LLC. have announced an alliance that provides a seamless transition from karts to racecars.

The alliance benefits kart racers looking to progress from karts to race cars to advance their racing careers, while providing those already driving race cars an opportunity for more seat time, fun and fitness through karting.

“An alliance between JAY Motorsports and Conlin SpeedSports benefits any individual who wishes to move from karting to the next level,” said Jay Green, owner of JAY Motorsports. “There are many different options to choose from in climbing the racing ladder and the alliance with Conlin SpeedSports allows racers to focus on the task at hand. The alliance also benefits the current auto racer who would like to sharpen their skills by hopping into a kart to do some track days or races.”

Green approached Jim Conlin, owner of Conlin SpeedSports, with the idea when the two shared a client – an SCCA racer who also competed in karting events on off weekends.

“Jay and I shared a customer and as we got to know each other we soon found we also shared the same vision of excellence for our companies and clients,” said Conlin. “For our customers that want to cross over, they won't have to search for a service that meets the expectations they've become accustom to.”

The two operations see the alliance as a means to offer their customers a more complete menu of driving options. Conlin SpeedSports will be scouting kart drivers looking to move to race cars, while Jay Motorsports will encourage formula car and sports car drivers to consider karting as a cost effective training and fitness program.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Conlin SpeedSports offers racing kart arrive & drives, race prep and trackside support services, as well as PCR Racing Kart sales and leasing. For 2010 CSS will be focusing on events at New Castle Motorsports Park and Circleville Raceway Park, as well as regional and national races around the country.
