BARRIE, ONT. (January 28, 2010) - BGR Team Grote, know as a team that helps develop the future stars of motorsports, recently enhanced this reputation thanks to some exciting news and results by its alumni.

Canadian Kyle Marcelli, has announced he will make the jump to American Le Mans Series this coming season. Marcelli, a graduate of Brian Graham Racing's Formula Ford and Pro F2000 program will be on the grid of the ALMS season-opener at the famed 12 Hours of Sebring, competing in the newly formed Le Mans Prototype Challenge class. In addition to his driving duties, the former Ontario Formula Ford Championship champion and F2000 Championship series race winner will continue to be involved with BGR Team Grote as a driver coach with the team.

Conor Daly, another BGR alumni, made a big statement at the recent Star Mazda Championship Spring Training pre-season test. The 2008 OFFC multiple race winner, Rookie of the Year and lap record holder at the three OFFC tracks, was quickest in three-day test at Sebring International. Daly, who also gave BGR Team Grote it's first Pro F2000 pole and added a couple of podiums to their impressive collection in the 2008 F2000 Championship Series, has yet to finalize his plans for the upcoming season, but is expected be back in the Star Mazda Championship after a race-winning rookie season last year.

Last, but not least, Canadian Alex Ellis was one of two winners of the Jim Russell Future Driver 2010 selection. A graduate of the BGR-TLM racing with Grote ladder system, the five-time Ontario Formula 1200 race winner, earned a free seat in the 2010 Jim Russell Championship Series.

BGR Team Grote will be announcing their 2010 driver line up shortly and look to add to an impressive list of alumni. The team is scheduled to compete in the Ontario Formula Ford Championship, USF2000 National Championship, F2000 Championship Series, and Ontario Formula Libre Championship in 2010. Interested drivers should contact the team through the team website http://www.briangrahamracing.com
