HILLIARD, OHIO (January 27, 2010) 2009 SCCA Formula Enterprises National Champion and Mazda MX-5 Cup Shootout winner Nick Evans will be on hand to speak with karting enthusiasts at the 18th Annual Franklin Motorsports Kart Expo International brought to you by National Kart News on February 27 and 28 at the DuPage Expo Center in St. Charles, Ill.
Evans will join Conlin SpeedSports, LLC. and JAY Motorsports, LLC. in booths 110 and 112, which will include two karts and a JAY Motorsports SCCA Formula Enterprise car on display.
After winning multiple karting championships, Evans has continued his success with JAY Motorsports, quickly becoming a multi-time champ in the SCCA ranks. Evans will speak with Expo guests about his experiences in progressing from karts to racecars.
The transition from karts to car racing was almost effortless, said Evans. The ultra competitive nature and style of driving required from karting makes for a very comfortable switch to all forms of auto racing.
Guests can speak with Evans when the 2010 KMI Show opens to the public on Saturday, February 27, from noon 6 p.m. and Sunday, February 28, from 10am 4pm.
