PEFFERLAW, ONT. (October 20, 2009) - More than 50 people, including a dozen excited would-be race-car drivers participated in Saturday’s Brian Stewart Racing private race day at Edenvale Aerodome.
Although it was a frosty day, the sun was shining on the crowd of invited guests, and Rob Lyle of Rob’s Radically Outrageous BBQ and Smokehouse did a great job of keeping everyone filled up on hot and delicious meals.
The day started with a track walk-about, led by Brian Stewart and Lee Abrahamson, followed by the drivers taking to the track in the Champ Car Lights.
"Awesome!" stated Ron Johnstone. "The only limitations were one’s own skills. The whole day was really well organized and everyone had a lot of fun."
"This is not something you get to do every day," commented Tony Snippe. "What an experience! My thanks to BSR for the opportunity and the memories!"
"The time at the track was fun, but the best part for me was the entertaining way Brain Stewart told his stories, and having the opportunity to hear more from him about the behind the scenes action," added Wayne McKinnon.
