BARRIE, ONT. (August 26, 2009) - Brian Graham Racing/TLM Racing with Grote recently completed a very successful test with two young proteges, as Spencer Pigot and Mackenzie Clare completed a full day of testing aboard the teams Formula Fords.
Pigot, a standout karter and race winner in Skip Barber Racing Regional competition, was quick to get up to speed, setting a new testing record for the BGR/TLM team at the Mosport Developmental track.,
The 14 year-old Clare, a top karter, logged over 100 miles and never put a wheel wrong in the test. He continues to increase his pace while still working within the teams goals and plans.
"Another great day with two future champions," stated team owner Brian Graham. "Spencer was blindingly quick, and if he choses to come to us next season for the OFFC, I am sure he will be contender right out of the gate. Mackenzie continues to get more comfortable in the car and posted some very good laps. We have a plan to see him test with us again this season and then a full 2010 season of testing before he turns 16 and joins the OFFC in 2011. By the time he starts his first race he will be a contender as well.
More test days are in the works this season, with Brian Graham Racing/TLM Racing with Grote will conduct two full days of action at season's end on October 9-10. Interested parties can contact the team through the team's websites BrianGrahamRacing.com and TLMRacing.com |
