The FormulaCar Magazine FE Championship Midwest/Rocky Mountain Division races in conjunction with SCCA Club Racing events held in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain Divisions. The series is one of six divisional programs that will be run within the championship, which will culminate with the first-ever visit to the year-end SCCA National Championship Runoffs, were at a National Champion will be crowned at Heartland Park Topeka in early October.
In 2007, the combined Midwest/Southwest Division featured a fierce fight for the title, with Rusty Mitchell emerging as the champion. The inaugural Rocky Mountain Division season meanwhile witnessed a dominating performance by eventual series champion Tyler Hunter.
In 2008, the Rocky Mountain Division will race six times at four different race tracks in the region. The season commences in mid-April and goes until late August.
