| Indy Lights: Award-Winning TruFuel Partners with Belardi Auto Racing |
EDMONTON, ALB. (July 19, 2012) - Belardi Auto Racing is very excited to announce a new partnership with award-winning TruFuel and the No. 9 car in their Firestone Indy Lights program.
A pre-mixed fuel for 2-cycle engines, TruFuel is available nationally from many distributors and dealers like WalMart and O'Reilly Auto Parts. The product is produced by TruSouth, a leading company in the blending and packaging of industrial and automotive lubricants.
The Shreveport, La.-based company will debut its product's logo on the No. 9 Belardi Auto Racing machine, driven by Irishman Peter Dempsey, this weekend in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The Firestone Indy Lights series heads to the "The Big E" for the Edmonton 100 which will take place this Saturday at 5:30pm ET.
Dempsey, the talented 26 year-old from Ashbourne, Ireland, piloted the No. 9 car to a P4 finish in his debut with Belardi Auto Racing just two weeks ago in Toronto, Ont. He hopes to improve on that finish by making an appearance on the podium for his new team and new partner.
"I am very excited to have TruFuel join Belardi Auto Racing and myself as a partner on the No. 9 car," Dempsey said. "It's really exciting to have them come aboard for Edmonton, as well as the remainder of the season. I cannot thank everyone at TruFuel, Brian [Belardi] and [team manager] John [Brunner] enough for giving me the opportunity to represent this product.
"I am confident that we can all make this a successful partnership and I hope to do them proud this weekend as well as the final three races this year. Hopefully we can start out by getting the No. 9 on the podium this weekend with the aim of reaching victory circle before the end of the season!"
Team owner Brian Belardi is equally delighted to welcome the industry leading product to their program.

The No. 9 Belardi Auto Racing/TruFuel car will debut its new livery on Friday morning during the first practice session for the Edmonton 100 at 9:45am local time.
