NOBLESVILLE, IND. (July 5, 2012) - It was announced that Sodus, New York based, PACE Electronics will back American race car driver Conor Daly for the rest of the 2012 season. It is a return to open-wheel racing for PACE Electronics founder and motorsports enthusiast, Pat Kehoe, who is a former team owner at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The motorsports platform will be used to promote the PACE brand on Conor's race helmet and he will also wear a PACE branded hat at all race events. Daly's Lotus GP race car will carry the Snug as a Bug product branding on its engine cover starting this weekend at Silverstone.

"I am delighted to represent PACE Electronics and some of its great products throughout this race season," said Daly. "My sport is all about new products and technology which is a perfect match for PACE. I think its cool that my Dad also drove for PACE when he raced."

Pace Electronics founder, Pat Kehoe, is no stranger to motorsports as he ran cars at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for many years for drivers such as, Dennis Firestone, Ed Pimm, Pancho Carter and Conor's Dad, Derek Daly. Derek drove a March 87C-Buick for PACE Electronics in the 1987 Indianapolis 500.

"My good friend Robert Fernley, Deputy Team Principal of the Sahara Force India F1 Team has been very impressed with how competitive Conor has been in GP3 and believes him to be the most exciting potential F1 American driver prospect for some time, as such, Pace is proud to support Conor in his quest to become America's next Formula One driver," stated Kehoe, Founder and President of Pace Electronics.

PACE Electronic Products, headquartered in Sodus, NY, USA, offers complete electronic manufacturing sourcing solutions-electronic component sourcing, electronic subassembly solutions, turnkey manufacturing, packaging and logistics, stateside buffer warehousing, and U.S. project management, service and support. PACE owns and operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Hong Kong and Heshan, China, a sales and marketing office in Mission Viejo, California and warehouse facilities throughout the United States.

On the opening weekend of the season, he won round two of the championship in Barcelona, Spain in May. Lotus GP, an all French team based just outside Paris, France is arguably Europe's best junior team having won the past two GP3 championships. Past drivers who have come through their development system include, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Hulkenberg, Paul DiResta, Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg.

Daly, is sponsored by: VBrick Systems, Inc., Delavaco Capital Inc., Callcap, Merchant Services LTD, The College Network, PACE Electronics and Tom Lange Company with additional support from; St. Vincent Sports Performance, Alpinestars and Aspin Group.
