SCCA: Formula Enterprises and Formula Mazda Remain Separate Classes

Sports Car Club of America's Board of Directors has voted on several proposed changes that will reshape several of its Club Racing classes in the years to come.

The Club Racing Board submitted proposals for member input in the last several months, formulating recommendations based on the input. The Board of Directors then voted on the CRB's recommendations to determine what, if any, changes will be made to the class structure.

Touring and Showroom Stock are the only categories scheduled for a change in 2013.

In the Formula category, the proposed combining of the Formula Enterprises and Formula Mazda will not occur, with the two remain separate classes.

The 49th Annual SCCA National Championship Runoffs will once again take place at Road America in Wisconsin, with the races running from September 20-23.
