F2000 Championship Series officials have announced disciplinary action following the second race (Round Two) at VIRginia International Raceway.

Robert La Rocca, driver of the No. 10 HP-Tech Motorsport Van Diemen, has received a 25 point fine for failure to observe SCCA Pro Racing Driving Conduct Rule 1.7.16.4 and 1.7.16.5, by failing to leave sufficient racing room for a competitor, thereby forcing said competitor to place one side of the vehicle dangerously off the pavement in front of a full massed field having just received the green flag.

The expected result is increased awareness and respect for every competitor by all competing drivers.

La Rocca won both races of the season-opening doubleheader at VIR from the pole position.

The 2012 F2000 Championship Series title chase resumes on May 11-12, with Rounds Three and Four at Road Atlanta
Pacific Mountain Central Eastern International
